We are always looking for ways to meet our customers needs and at Isabelle’s we love nothing better that making delicious home cooked food. Our customers at The Steeple Shop, Drumlithie requested hot food at lunch time so February 2019 saw the launch of Homemade with Love Takeaway Soup to fulfil this request.
At Isabelle's we do love a poll to gauge customer opinions so we asked customers to let us know which soups they'd like us to make! Based on the list of favourites we created a warming lentil soup for the Monday, on Tuesday a roasted red pepper & tomato soup was on the menu. Wednesday saw a broccoli & stilton; Thursday, a leek & potato and the first week ended with a Thai red curried butternut squash and coconut soup!
We looked at all the ingredients carefully and select, where possible, vegetables from local farmers including The Spud Hut at Cairnton and tatties from Mains of Fordoun.
8oz cups or 12oz cups are available for the larger appetite. The soups are complimented with a choice of Isabelle's Sandwiches All soups are now GLUTEN FREE and many are also suitable for VEGAN diets. We think you'll agree that there's nothing more satisfying than a warm cup of delicious home made soup full of flavour and made with love!?
Packaging always features highly at Isabelle's as we aim to remain as eco friendly as possible with our paper coming from a fully sustainable forest, and which are fully recyclable. We also encourage customers to recycle their paper cups.
